"Let’s Go Grandpa!" For this pencil drawing, I used the hands of an old dairy farmer and his granddaughter to depict a scene familiar with many people. His huge, well-weathered hand worked perfectly to show the textural differences between young and old. It also illustrates the special bond that often occurs between people that are on the opposite ends of life. It is one of the most popular prints I have done. Many grandpas have received this print as a gift from their grandchildren.
Since not all kids call their Grandfather "Grandpa", I can personalize this print to make it a very special gift. Instead of having the title on the print read "Let's Go Grandpa!", I can change it to read "Let's Go what ever the kids call him!" Just use the "special instructions" area of my check out form to let me know how you would like me to title your print. "Let's Go Grandpa"copyrightby J. D. Hillberry.
